Each Saturday in July and August we will have a stall in Bramcote Hills Park to promote the cafe. The stall will be present at different times each week, to try and ensure that over the summer we reach as many people as possible. We will be located next to the children’s play area. We are very grateful to the council for their permission to operate the stall.

We are delighted to have received the revised architects plans from Pinelog, who are designing and building the cafe. These were on display on Saturday at the Hemlock Happening and we would like to thank the many hundreds of people who visited our stall. There was unanimous praise for the design and we will be moving towards applying for planning permission shortly.
SITE PLAN
We were delighted to receive the first draft of the plans from our architects yesterday. These will be looked at by our board on Monday evening and we hope to make them available for the public very shortly afterwards.
We now have the facility to accept donations via PayPal. You can donate using the button below and every penny that we receive will go towards the costs of building the cafe. The fundraising is now gaining momentum and we are looking forward to the plans being unveiled.
Thank you to everyone who has donated towards the costs of the cafe via our Crown Funder appeal. This has raised £1,500 towards the building costs. We launched the Crowd Funder to give people an opportunity to donate and you have responded magnificently. Thank you all. The Crowd Funder appeal was always due to run for just a short period of time and has now finished. From today you can donate via PaylPal using the button below.
Great News! The Big Lottery Fund have awarded us £10,000 from their Awards For All programme to fund the architectural and preparatory work for the cafe. This is another big step forward in making the cafe a reality. We aim to have architects drawings available to view at the Hemlock Happening on 10th June.
